“Art is seldom touchable but books are designed to be touched. I like that.”
--Laura Kerr
Poem objects created from a series of out-of-print books from 1958 that were part of a seminar on art from the Met. Kerr has removed the original loose art prints that each book contained in a front sleeve, and replaced them with prints of her own art – in dialogue with the subject and themes of each book. Each book and its print are available for readers to open, touch, remove and replace (or not).
