Inspired by the saying "take a picture, it'll last longer", DiDonato created six framed prints of various parts of her body and displayed them in her living room. The prints were then rephotographed to create this self-portrait. Reflecting on how these images will outlast her, DiDonato captures an intimate perspective of her own mortality.
