This project is a reflection on systems of coding, language, and memory as a container of data. The work is inspired by the magnetic core memories of computers from the 1950s and 60s and the works by Anni Albers (Codes, 1962). During her residency at the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, Muñoz created a graphic language based on binary code, using it to produce a series of textiles that contain coded information as a way of generating textile-memories.
