Memory Blocks is a series of sculptures that captures Ikuta's ephemeral botanical works as crystal memorabilia. Using photogrammetry, the forms are reconstructed and engraved directly into the glass, mirroring the frozen aquarium tank in which the original work was filmed. Ikuta's Memory Block series has served as building blocks for site-specific architectural installations and is presented here as a standalone sculpture.
