Alex Mack is a photographer and mixed media artist living in Vancouver, Canada. Her career kicked off in 2004, shooting live music in the punk rock scene of Toronto. Alex’s artistic focus evolved as she developed an affinity for mountains, completed her PhD in British Columbia and became a high-altitude scientist. Her photography followed suit, gravitating toward capturing the perfect paradox of chaos and peace that manifests in the alpine. Alex now combines her photography with elements of watercolour, an experiment which has transformed her art to provide a unique lens into her world of “outer peace”.
