Bradley Bell is a Los Angeles based painter exploring the unconscious visual language of hyperreality. Through an intuitive process, Bell enlists a variety of incompatible yet begrudgingly tangible mediums, from both oil and acrylic, to create dynamic layers of abstraction that articulate the overstimulation of our flattened historical context. His process both builds and buries information to only allow the viewer to experience a surface that has been dictated by an unknowable past.
Bell has lived most of his life in California and received a BA in Fine Art from the University of California, Los Angeles. His debut solo show 'At the end of the world there's a pier' opened at Carlye Packer gallery in May 2023.
Interreality: an expansive art exhibition bridging the traditional and digital art worlds through the presentation of works by 35 artists that span the physical-to-digital spectrum.
