LUPA
Based in Taipei, LUPA works across painting, illustration, sculpture, fashion design, and music composition. Her visual language blends Eastern mysticism with elements of fantasy literature. Through magical and surreal environments, she creates a personal lexicon of symbols and forms, transforming life experiences into evocative scenes. Using primitive, sensuous contours, she explores archetypal psychology, often arranging compositions like a proscenium stage to engage the viewer. Her work also reflects themes of ethnic diversity and fertility. LUPA was born in California in 1989. She received her BA degree in fashion design womenswear from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London in 2012 and her art has been exhibited in Taipei and Seoul.
